Adelaide P Bower

Adelaide P. Bower of Addison for nine years Adelaide P. Bower (nee Reynolds), 93, was born Dec. 10, 1917, in Chicago, and passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, in Addison. Adelaide was a retired homemaker.Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St. (two miles west of Route 83, two miles east of Route 53), Addison. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, with Deacon Dino Franch officiating. Interment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery. Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Anthony) Chocian, Thomas (Gayle) Bower and Richard Bower; grandchildren, Linda Krafft, Scott Chocian, Randy Bower, Robin Hoover and Jody Bower; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; and grandson, Robert Bitner.
