Allan "Red" Gerdes, 81 of Addison. Beloved husband of Mary nee Wangler. Loving father of Wayne (Karen), Tom(Bonnie) and Jack Gerdes. Dearest grandfather of Matthew, Sarah and Lauren. Cherished great grandfather of Mariyah, Vivian, Olivia, Cody, and Christian. Visitation Thursday October 2,2014 10am at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 1233 W. Holtz, Addison. Mass at 11am. Int. Pvt. Allan served in the Army in Korea and drove a truck for Jewel foods for 36 years. Memorials to the church appreciated.
