Diane Jo Otero

Diana Jo Leonard-Otero, 63 of Whiting, Indiana, passed away on April 17, 2024. Diana was such a loving spirit and was so very cherished by many. She is survived by her loving mother, Barbara Breaux. Her dedicated and loving son Luis (Tania) Feliciano, and Joel Torres. Her Grandchildren, Angel, Ivan and Isabel Feliciano, Nicholas Quintero, Ariana Feliciano, and Joel, Julius, Jayden and Jace Torres. She was the dearest sister of Joseph Brian (Penny) Leonard, Consuelo (the late John) Varela, Sharon (Ben) Leonard-Bonyo, Christopher Leonard, Clemmie (Francisco) Lozano and Delores (James) Childrey, Kim (Darryl) Espirit, Violet Leonard and Penny (Derrick) Malbrew. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of close family and friends. 

Diana is preceded in death by her father, John B. Leonard; Aunt and Godmother, Delores A. LaCour, and her grandparents; Robert and Ella Breaux and George and Laura Leonard.

Visitation Friday, April 26 from 3-8 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53). Funeral service Saturday, April 27, 9:15 AM from Humes Funeral Home to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Addison for Mass at 10 AM. Interment private.
