Doreen E. Airdo

Doreen E. Airdo (nee Scofield), 65, was the beloved wife of Carlo; loving mother of Carlo Jr. (Denise) and Nicholas (Lizmari) Airdo; cherished grandmother of Anthony and Benjamin; and dear sister of Bill (the late Rose), the late David (Helen), the late Lucille McHale and the late Arlene (Louie) Wolski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born Dec. 14, 1946, in Chicago, she passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Doreen was a retired homemaker. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 14, beginning at 3 p.m., with a funeral service at 8 p.m. at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St. (two miles west of Route 83, two miles east of Route 53), Addison. Interment will be private.
