Gary Albert Smith

Gary Albert Smith 70 of Batavia, formerly of South Barrington. Beloved husband of Lucille nee Buss. Loving father of Derek (Kim) Smith, Kathleen Bianca and Kevin Smith. Cherished grandfather of Brittney, Joshua, Nicholas, Broden and Joseph. Dear brother of the late Ronald (Dianne) and the late Robert Smith. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gary was an avid golfer and Cubs fan and loved to travel. He started several cable/telecommunications businesses and loved being involved in his childrens and grandchildrens lives. Funeral Service Tuesday June 23rd, 2015 10:30am at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53) Int. Mt. Emblem Cemetery. Visitation 3-9pm Monday.
