George Marcyniuk, of Elmhurst, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Monday, April 13, 2026. Loving Husband of the late Katherine Marcyniuk. Devoted Son of the late Trofym Marcyniuk and the late Ludmila Marcyniuk-Maziar. Beloved Father of Matthew (Tonya) Marcyniuk and Alexandra (Jason Umbs) Marcyniuk. Dearest Grandfather of Michael Marcyniuk and Andrew Marcyniuk. Cherished Brother of Walter (Lida) Marcyniuk. Fond Uncle of William (Laura McPherson) Marcyniuk and A'ndrea (Larry Kenney) Marcyniuk.

George was a loving, hardworking man with a great sense of humor. He was a talented stained-glass artist and an avid reader. He loved classic cars and classic rock. He will be dearly missed by his family.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 20, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 pm with a Panachyda at 7:30 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53). Funeral to follow on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from Humes Funeral Home at 8:30 AM, proceeding to St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 300 E Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale, IL for a 10:00 AM Funeral Service.
