Gloria Ann Cichy

Gloria Ann Cichy (née Zonavetch), 98 of Addison. Beloved wife of the late Theodore Cichy. Loving mother of Mark (Deborah) Cichy, Cynthia (Gerard) Lettenberger and Carol (David) Pugh. Dearest grandmother of Matthew, Audrey, Meagan, Benjamin, Nicole, Amanda, and Valerie. Great-grandmother of 7 adoring great grandchildren. Fond sister of the late Elaine (the late Robert) Hanson and William (Beverly) Zonavetch.

Gloria and Theodore were married in the city of Chicago in September of 1948. Soon thereafter, they moved to the Township of Addison to start a family. Gloria was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Philip Catholic Church in Addison. Gloria worked proudly in education as a health/teacher's aide in Addison School District 4 for many years. She was actively involved with the Addison Seniors Club and often volunteered for the Addison Police Department Court System.

Visitation: Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, from 3-8 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53).

Funeral Service: Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, 9:45 from Humes Funeral Home to St. Philip the Apostle Parish, Addison, for Mass at 10:30 AM.
