Cherished grandfather of Steven, Ashley, Ansley, Amanda, Caleb, Carley, Tyler, Alyssa and Kaitlyn. Dearest brother of the late Marilyn Smith and Kenneth Jacobson. Visitation 3 - 9 PM Monday August 6, 2012 at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53). Lying in state Tuesday August 7, 2012 9:30 , AM until time of Funeral Service 10 am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1213 Army Trail Rd., Addison. Interment Irving Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church greatly appreciated. Jim was an avid sportsman and a proud member of the N.R.A.
