Jean Gugliuzza, 71, Addison, Passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Beloved Wife of Charles Gugliuzza. Dear Daughter of the late Eugene and the late Jacqueline McCumber. Loving Mother of Chuck (Sally DeSantis) and Tony (Cynthia) Gugliuzza. Cherished Grandmother of Charlie and Matthew. Fond Sister of Peggy, George (Penni), John (Kathy Gill) and the late Carol Tainter. Sister in law of Sam (Dianna) Gugliuzza. Dear Aunt of many.

Jean will always be remembered for her amazing ability to make everyone she met feel special, welcomed, and loved. She was a beacon of light for all her family and friends that never dimmed nor faded no matter how dark the night was for them. Jean loved crafts, and yes, she was amazing at them, but what she loved even more than her crafts was the time she got to spend with the people she made them with and the ones she made them for. Jean also enjoyed motorcycle riding with her husband Charles. They were looking forward to celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in October. She made a meaningful career as an Administrative Assistant at the Addison Fire Dept where she made lifelong friends and eventually retired from. Jean also taught classes during that time and became a member of the Board of Fire Commissioners. We will forever remember her epic Halloween parties, the dedicated work she put into everything she set her mind to, an the love she shared towards everyone. Always in our hearts, we love you, Jean!

Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53). Interment Private. For additional information call 630-628-8808.
