Karen Maria Kosakowski nee Hitzelberger, 80 of Arizona, formerly of Chicago and Wood Dale, IL, died on July 21, 2026. Beloved wife of Dennis; Cherished Cousin of many; Special Friend of Raffy and the late Deacon Dino Franch and family. Karen was a longtime Executive Secretary for the Chicago Sun Times Newspaper.

Visitation Friday, July 31, 2026 from 3-8 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53). Funeral Mass Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 10 AM at Holy Ghost Church, Wood Dale. Interment to follow at Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago.
