Teresa Valdez, 95, was born on October 28th, 1930, in El Astillero, Valparaíso, Zacatecas, and passed away on April 7th, 2026. 

She was the beloved wife of Austreberto Carrillo (†). Loving mother of Federico, Hermelinda, Livier, Aida, Sofia, Austreberto, Josefina, Olga, Martin, and Manuel. She was a grandmother and great-grandmother of many.

Sister of Jesus Valdez (†), Alvino Valdez (†), Consuelo Valdez (†), Francisca Valdez (†), and Eva (†).

Her love and teachings will live forever in our hearts.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12th, 2026, at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W Lake St, Addison, IL 60101. This will follow with a mass on Monday, April 13th, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 330 E Fullerton Ave, Addison, IL 60101.
