Theodore Detloff

Our loving father, Ted Detloff passed away peacefully on Valentines Day, February 14, 2026 to be with our mother Loretta DeGrazia Detloff. They are together now in Paradise. We, Cathy (Ed) Chisholm, Florence (Paul) Chillemi, Debbie (Jim) Johnson and Sarine (Bob) Crotteau have sadden hearts but many memories. He leaves behind 7 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Ted was born in Chicago on June 24, 1934, to Paul and Florence Detloff. He will join his dear sister Mary Alice (Nick) Schutz and will be deeply missed by his brothers Jerry (Sally) Detloff and Jim (Jo Ann) Detloff.

Our father loved Bowling. Which he did for years. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. And when he could he loved going to the casinos. But most of all he loved his family and being together at family parties and picnics. He loved his Grandchildren and was so proud of them. He always looked forward to seeing the Great Grandchildren for all their hugs and kisses. He was known to be a jokester and enjoyed teasing his nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by many. His funeral service will be held at Humes Funeral Home on March 15, 2026, from 10am to 1pm. The address is 320 W. Lake Street, Addison, IL 60101. 630-628-8808
