Therese Keenan

Therese Keenan, 95 of Milton, FL.  Beloved sister of the late Patricia, the late Gregory, the late James (late Betty Lou), the late George (late Betty), the late Rosemary (late Vince) McManimon, the late Raymond (late Connie), the late Jane (late Daniel) Roe and the late Gerald (Marian Secor.  Cherished aunt of many.

Therese was the last of her generation.  She had a strong Catholic faith that carried her through life.   She was a dedicated volunteer, and avid reader and gifted storyteller with a particular fondness for Arby’s, Sonic hot dogs, and circus peanuts.  She was a lover of animals and always several in her home.  Her family has many treasured memories of Therese’s easygoing and lenient manner when minding them as children, especially always letting them have Coke when they went out for breakfast.

Though her years were long, her heart strings were longer.   She is greatly missed.

Visitation Friday, February 16, from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53).  

Memorial Service at the funeral home on Saturday, February 17, at 10:30 a.m.  Inurnment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
