Thomas M. Gnadt, Sr., 80 of Addison. Beloved husband of Patricia nee Wanzung. Loving father of Thomas (Mary) Gnadt, Jr., Scott (Kelly) Gnadt, Cherylyn Gnadt and Carrie (Luis) Hernandez. Cherished grandfather of Ellen, Thomas III, Caroline, Michael, Kevin, Mateo, Bella, Lauren and the late Ryan. Dearest brother of Kathleen (Vito) Battaglia, Eileen (Bob) Goduto, Terry (Fran) and Tim (Vicki) Gnadt. Fond nephew of Frank. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 3-8 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53) with a service at 6:45 PM. Funeral Service Thursday, December 7, 2023, 9 AM from Humes Funeral Home to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 524 N. Rush Street in Itasca for Mass at 10 AM. Interment Glen Oaks Cemetery, Hillside.

Tom was a retired Lt. with the Addison District Fire Department as a firefighter and paramedic for over 30 years.
