Vera Taran Parkhill

Vera (Taran) Parkhill, age 61, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday, August 22, 2021  She is predeceased by her mother Pat Taran and her sister Catarina Taran. She is survived by her father Mykola Taran, beloved husband of 40 years, Gary Parkhill; children Katrina (Bobby) Barker & Gregory (Maggie) Parkhill; grandchildren Landon, McKenzie & Madison.  Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 4-7 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 53, 2 Mi. E. of Rt 83). Visitation Saturday, August 28,  9 AM with a service at 10:30 AM at Humes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 2905 Thatcher Ave, River Grove.
