William Mercer Wallace

William Mercer Wallace, 92, resident of Addison, IL, born in Earlston, Scotland. Passed away on June 28, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Gladys Janet Wallace. Loving father of Elizabeth Wallace (Michael Barker), and the late Andrew Wallace, and the late Lesley (Melvin) Bartlett. Dearest grandfather of Stuart Wallace, Robert Wallace, and Heather Bartlett. Cherished great grandfather of Rhianna, Fabian, and Aeryn. Special companion of Ruthie Pozesky. Memorial visitation Sat. July 12 1-4pm, Service at 3 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St. Addison (2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53, 2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83) Interment private. William was a member of the Bensenville Masonic Lodge, and the Scottish Rite in Bloomingdale. He was a retired Shop Supervisor at The University of Illinois, Chicago Circle Campus. William is now at peace, and he will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
