Obituary

Klaus Fukala, 76 of Addison. Beloved wife of Donna. Loving father of Brian. Dearest brother of Werner (Diane) Fukala and Manfred (Bonnie) Fukala. Fond uncle of Jeff (Mia) Fukala, Kimberly Fukala, Jennifer Fukala, Kara Fukala and Kevin (Monica) Fukala. Loving great uncle of Mitchell Fukala, Megan Fukala, Joshua Harr, Hailey Harr, Cassius Fukala and Evie Rose Fukala.

Klaus served in the U.S. Army and retired as a printer. He and his son Brian had a great love for movies, spending many happy times together going to see films at the Music Box Theater in Chicago. He had a love of the outdoors, enjoying his yard and koi pond. He was always on the hunt for a good deal at garage and estate sales, where he discovered a love for old and rare clocks. He could fix and repair almost anything, and enjoyed motorcycles, his last being a custom trike. Klaus’s friends and family loved to visit his mancave and be transported back in time browsing through his collection of memorabilia from his life. His family and friends will always remember Klaus for his kindness and willingness to help. He was always fun to be around and could always make you laugh.

A celebration of Klaus’s life will be held at a later date.
