Timothy Nicholas Klufetos, 64, formerly of Addison. Beloved son of the late Nicholas Klufetos and the late Delores Bennett Tulfo. Loving brother of Grant Klufetos, Debra Christopoulos (Dr. Jonathan Jerke), Scott (Alisha) Bennett, Donna (Paul) Mericle, Tom Standard, and stepson of Katherine Mowers. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving aunties. He was cared for by loyal High School friends through the decades. We remember Tim as strong and kind, treating others politely with respect, due to his great moral compass. He was a valiant overcomer as a special challenge individual. We will all miss Timmy’s daily phone calls and sharing of memories, with his gifted recall of historical, sporting, local geography and people. Tim, true to his name, lived life honorably. His zeal for life brought new adventures, like dodging avalanches and Ubers to Starbucks. Tim yearned to be back in Chicagoland, where he will now rest in Christian faith, with love from family and friends. Signing off in his words, ‘I love you & Have a good one!’. Visitation Thursday, June 23, 2022 4-8 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 mi. E. of Rt. 53). Funeral service Friday, June 24, 2022 9 AM from Humes Funeral Home to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Elmhurst for service at 10 AM. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
